€86.99 has arrived. But only 6 boxes left. I know some of you want them so I'm not posting this info anywhere else for now.

Tried the local supermarket but they wont repack for me!

Hi guys, just looking for a bit of advice here. We have been talking to a microbrewery and can ship 25 Kg of STANDARD PALE MALT (Maris Otter, UK ) for 47 Euros plus the 7 Euro shipping.

I was wondering if we should stock it? Its uncrushed though.

We can also do 5 Kg bags of hop pellets(Fuggles, first Gold, Saaz, and Cascade) for about 220 Euros. Thats a lot of hops though!

how can you justify 5kg of hops at 220 e when they cost about 15£ a kilo? even taking postage into account that's still about 100e over the odds. If someone was buying 5kg they could just buy direct from Faram.

**edit** that is to say- according to the last price list I saw most hops were around 15£ per kg, with minimum 5kg order, and courrier at 40£, makes 115£ for say, goldings, which is about 125 euro, so you'd need to compete with that. your only bet would be to buy in bulk and repackage, and try to offer competitive prices as some others do.

We shall have to look further afield!

yes well that was for some of the english varieties, certain others were more expensive. Get in touch with charles faram & co for a price list. If I were you I would buy a large freezer, buy in bulk, get a decent selection (I'm sure the members could advise on the most popular) repackage into 200g bags and sell on at a good price.
