Anyone know of them or hear of them? They asked me to link to them on my blog.

Never heard of them, which is unusual. Must be pretty new.

They have good prices and they promise the same shipping as the homebrewcompany.ie but I can't say they actually sell much that I would like to buy.

no they have nothing i would buy as its mostly kits etc.
i will hold off giving the their link until im sure its legit.

Not a great selection of stuff but what they do have is cheaper than the homebrew company..But is the service as good!! might place a small order and see what happens!

Have you seen the online videos they are recommending?

I also don't like the lack of a postal address or phone number...

Picked up the discussion when I tried to see who was looking at the site.

Yup, we are new new guys on the block. Based in Galway. Address is 114 Creagan, Barna, Galway. Phone number is 085 1580626. We are waiting for Realex to enable LASER card capability and all our contact delails will be on the site then.

We set up a couple of months ago. And we ain't the only ones either; our wholesalers tell us there is another! I think they are at "homebrew.ie" but they are no cheaper than any of the others the last time we looked.

We hope to make reasonable money, and yet we are still a lot cheaper than the other guys. Go figure! We all buy from the same suppliers at the same price. This includes the UK guys, so why are supplies so much more expensive here compared to the UK? I don't want to give price examples because I don't want to plug the site here, I'm not sure that would be allowed.

Anyway, my expertise is in home distillation, and I will quite happily tell you all you want to know about that field (its legal in New Zealand).

I would appreciate your comments on homebrew supplies though, we supply mostly kits but can stock anything.

We put up "Craig's videos" on the site because they were the best ones we could find. Some of the others we watched are kinda "hey presto" and the beer magically appears. I like Craig's because he does show nearly all the processes. Again, if you can suggest others? I might get around to making my own at some stage (my daughter is into cameras and vidoes).
