Charles Faram only supply malt by the tonne..I have been there already!!

TheHomebrewCompany.ie. I whined so much about the fact that the Munton's sack I had before had knocked nearly 10 points off my efficiency that he switched supplier.

As it happens my sack of Maris Otter is nearly gone - what difference did you notice with the Warminster?

[/quote:2w929s82]That's strange, they certainly used to supply 25kg bags, they were priced by the tonne but you just divided by 40 to get the price for a bag.

The sack of Munton's MO was fine in the flavour department, but I had to use more of it to get the same amount of extract. The Warminster MO put my efficiency numbers back in the 80's, where they belong, as soon as I started using it.
