Hi there Brian, i'm all for healthy competition but after looking at your site and comparing prices you're not as cheap as you claim, i found the Woodforde kits elsewhere cheaper!!!!
Personally i'm really happy with the service/range i get from my current HBS and won't be moving any time soon to somebody with such a limited stock.
I also received an email through my blog asking for a link which i won't be doing as i moved the mail to it's rightful place "spam"
I do wish you all the success going into the future i just feel you're shouting way to loud about very little at the minute

Hi Alexander, ya we spotted that too, they knocked 13% to 17% off a handfull of products, some kinda special deal. So, who says competition is bad?

We expected this, but our pricing is not short term "special deals" or "June specials". Its here to stay and applies accross our WHOLE product range, not just a handful of products.

If you compare pricing on that basis, you will see a very different picture. Please do, and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Brian

You have us on the product range though, its true our range is much smaller.

But that will change soon and I do hope you will keep an eye on us over the coming months as our product range expands.

I am totally happy with thehomebrewcompany.ie but have no qualms about switching supplier if i can find what i want cheaper else where ([size=75:1t7u89j4] with the same great service that shane provides )[/size:1t7u89j4] . Its up to them to try and sell to us ...I say yeah to a price war <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Sure, we will be ordering Young's crushed malt range, 3 kg bags will retail for 9.46 Euros or less in a week or so. Again its the UK RRP plus the 6% VAT difference, same pricing as all our other products. And its a lot cheaper than our competitors.

The thing is we order enough from our suppliers to avoid shipping costs completely. I know there are cheaper grain suppliers in the UK and we are talking to them, but the problem is that we would have to order a whole pile to get the shipping costs down and we just don't have the customer base to do that yet. But we are getting there !!!

We would really appreciate it if you would let us know if there is anything else you think we should be ordering within the next few days.

Thanks,

Brian
