Eoin,
Thats brilliant. It looks like its kinda self-certified training which means that, provided we download all the relevent info from the Food Safety Authority, we could do it ourselves.

How have you guys found the 25 Kg spraymalt packs? Does it stay powdery after you take some out and open it again later, or does it absorb moisture from the air so fast that it gets messy to work with?

Unfortunately, we had to sell all the last order so we didn't have any left for ourselves. Gonna keep a pack this time all for me!

Just got the last of my new set-up and I'll let you know when I've done the first brew with it.

It's crazily hydrophilic (loves water) so it gets messy to work with straight away. The moisture on anything is enough for it to leave a sticky film. A walk in freezer would be a great place to do it, get temps right down it'll be dry as a bone in there.

It does stay powdery once you open and close the pack quickly. To give you an idea, the internal bag, is covered in a film of malt, straight away when it comes from Muntons, so double bag it like they do.

Hmmm, where to find a great big walk in freezer in Galway . . . .

Hotels, restaurants, catering companies, any place there's an industrial sized kitchen normally.

Hi guys, Muntons Spraymalt Light-A 25 Kg Box
€86.99 has arrived. But only 6 boxes left. I know some of you want them so I'm not posting this info anywhere else for now.

Tried the local supermarket but they wont repack for me!
