Ha, Thanks for the welcome!
Well, I've been enjoying different craft beers for several years now (it was Messrs Rusty Ale that initially enlightened me to the fact that there existed a delicious world beyond your standard macro beers, just waiting to be discovered) but up until very recently I had never really considered homebrew as an option. I just picked up a couple of bottles of something-or other in my local offie. Usually ale but the occasional stout.
I'd never really considered it thouroughly but I suppose in the back of my mind homebrew beer was some revolting cloudy concoction that students did in their airing cupboard just to get trashed on the cheap, and it was only when a friend of mine expressed his interest in it that I began to look into it for myself on youtube etc and realised how great home brewing could be.
I since bought a coopers kit and that's fermenting away as I type but based on what I have seen on youtube, the all grain action is where I want to be at.
I am very lucky in my own line of work in that I have ready access to useful bits of equipment for brewing. Our company keeps beer cold but the principles are the same <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

I am currently scraping together bits and pieces for an AG setup!
