New IPA from Trouble Brewing 13 years 4 months ago #1

Just seen the announcement of "Sabotage" - a 5.5% IPA - on Trouble Brewing's twitter feed.

Apparently it should be released on tap in late January and in bottles a while after that.

Anyone have any more info on this? I'm praying that an Irish brewer will finally chuck a serious amount of US/NZ hops into a beer without having a load of caramalt to spoil the party...a 5.5% IPA could be the beer to do it! Here's hoping!

Trouble are more likely to make an English IPA, correct?

That's what I'm fearing. If they just use Fuggles and Goldings I'll weep.
Sick to death of not having access to fresh well-hopped beer; so many British brewers are making wonderful modern IPAs that stand shoulder to shoulder with US versions, so hopefully we'll cop on soon over here!

You need to start brewing your own Alex!!

I hope this is the beer we've all been waiting for!

I know Padraic, it's going to have to happen sooner rather than later! Will have to come along to the next Capital Brewers day for sure

No Fuggles or Goldings, or in fact any English Hops. Our Australian friend, Galaxy* has made a reappearance though, this time in a supporting role.

No Caramalt either.

I hope that reassures everyone...
