It would be rude not to...

Well? Was anybody in ATG last night for the launch? Was it any good? I'm in Dublin with the Missus tomorrow, so is it worth dragging her over there for a few pints? I hope yiz left some!

We drank them dry last night, both cask and keg <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: --> There wasn't any tap in the downstairs part of ATG, they just set up a tap and handpull in the upstairs part for the launch. I'm not sure when it will be available so you'd need to check.

It was very nice, by the way. Especially on cask.

Yea I managed to make it and try the cask and kegs versions side by side. I thought the cask version tasted very much like water melon. Very unusual. The keg version was helped by having some much needed carbonation, but I felt it could have been more highly bittered. The dominant flavour was a sort of light roasty chocolate, with the hops playing a surprisingly subdued role. If I had blind tasted them I don't think I would have said they were the same beer.

I was chatting to one of the Trouble lads and he said they're planning to re-locate the brewery to Kill village, just outside Naas. That will definitely make it my local brewery!

By the way, does anyone know if Thom Prior is still involved in Trouble?
