Do more of you ladies and gents on here not fancy creating yourselves a Ratebeer account?
I know that some people get royally turned off by the ultra-geeky "ticking" culture that some of the Ratebeerians go in for (I sure do), but I've found it a really useful way of accurately documenting my notes on beers in a public forum.
I'm pretty sure that many brewers in the UK and USA take a regular look at the scores and feedback about their beers on the site: after all, if 100 people in a week think your latest batch is absolute shite, then there's probably something wrong.
There aren't many of us Irish-based Ratebeer members, so many of the Irish beers only have a handful of reviews which aren't of much use to the brewers (or anyone, really). But if more regular Irish beer drinkers would document their thoughts, then perhaps that could function as an easy way for brewers to analyse consumer reactions to their brews without having to get into the nitty gritty of web-forums or random emails.
On a personal note, it would be great to get more Irish-based users on there to see what you folks are thinking of the most recent brews...it can get pretty lonely on there <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
