For what it's worth, it's been flying out at the festival. Had people asking for the cask of it all day and when I put it on it barely lasted 2 hours.

I had another one last night at the beer festival. I was curious to see if it was the same or any better. It was the same. Not a bad beer but just not what I consider an IPA.
It was the only beer I did not finish and instead I drank half and wandered over to Brewdock for my free pint of Galway Bay beer thanks to being at the festival. I enjoyed the lovely chocolate stout and some fine talk with some Irish and Canadians who recognised my Beoir T-Shirt and were trying beers.

Had my first on Paddy's day, not really an IPA, and it was only average. I think most people here keep expecting an American IPA as I do, and are slightly disappointed each time an Irish IPA comes out.

The next version of Galway Bay full sail ipa will use all American hops. Out soon.

I actually quite enjoyed this one, had a pint of both the cask and keg and preferred the keg version. Tasted more English than American, not a bad thing sometimes.
