I havent been on in a while folks, god knows this topic has probably been brought up or killed to death, but i was speaking to HapyAcid who told me Eurobeers have gone belly up? Is this true?

Yes, it's true. I don't think it's been discussed on here yet. I was actually trying to find a news article about it, but no joy. We heard rumours a couple of weeks ago, and it was confirmed last Friday I think.

Strangely enough, more people knew of it than I though. I met a man who was coeliac last Saturday who was saying that the crowd he could get gluten free beer from had gone bust, and it was them all right.

Barry Fitz brought real beer to this country a shame he was not supported better.

It's a big loss for all beer lovers as they supplied so much of the beers we love. Hopefully someone will see this as an opportunity to step in and pick up the slack.

edit: This presumably will affect the upcoming beer festivals such as the Franciscan Well's Oktoberfest?
