Sorry to hear about the demise of Eurobeers as said in all the comments earlier. Not sure how this will effect or finish the Abbot Alehouse which got most of their supplies from there or else was owned by Eurobbers - not sure which. We will have to wait and see. Disappointing news in any event.

That's right. They had a close relationship alright.

I have just ordered another case of Aventinus from Realbeers.ie in case there is a shortage!

Unfortunately, the world of business does not care about "passion for great beer". I am sure someone must take up the slack or otherwise we will be depending on places like Redmonds that seem to do their own thing and import directly, or piggyback UK orders.

I guess you guys will have to concentrate more on brewing the great beers that you brew! And there is always beer travel....

We were discussing the impending famine at the Larkfield Brewery last night and I propose that we introduce rationing. If everyone buys as much quality beer as they can and then drop it round to my house, I'll make sure that it's distributed fairly.

Conversely, anyone found in possession of more than three bottles of Aventinus during this crisis will be shot.

On a more serious note, it might be worthwhile posting on this forum before making web orders. We could share shipping. Are there any legal implications if nobody's making a profit?

As long as nobody is selling the stuff you should be grand.
