When you list the beers like that, it's horrifying to think that we're going to lose them. Regarding the supermarkets, at Brewlab it was stated in no uncertain terms that they are pigs to do business with. But they're screwing many others and not just brewers with below cost selling.

Kid, you paint a very grim picture. I was pretty pissed off when I heard they were in difficulty, but seeing you list some of the beers we may not see for some time in this country, I'm now on the verge of depression.

Is there a definitive list of what Eurobeers imported that nobody else does?

Feck that going to be a big blow, I gong do the Redmond’s off licenses to be some Thomas Hardy ale and another before they are gone


Last time I was in Redmond’s off licenses I was talking to the owner and he said they where doing up the place and doubling the bottle stock. Apparently they are doing a deal with a northern English craft beer distributor to supply Ireland; the range will include Sam smiths and other smaller breweries.

I know this in the short/medium term affect the Dublin crown, but if things go well they may well want to increase there share to the rest of the country

was in my local offie yesterday - uncorked in ballyroan - and they had a sign up saying that their usual beer supplier had gone into liquidation and that supplies would be affected in the short-term. managed to get the second last 6 of goose island ipa <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> , didn't have the car with me so couldn't carry the other one - may have to make a trip there this evening to get the last one!
