As far as I know Eurobeers were the main suppliers, certainly of a lot of the continental beers and the US micro beers. They apparently lost the distribution rights to Kopparberg (another reason to dislike it <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> ) and ran into some cashflow problems. This of course is hearsay so don't shoot the messenger if this is inaccurate...

The Octoberfest will still go a head, there are some smaller distributors out there and supply from the main importers is not a problem. Although the range is bound to be reduced.

Dose anyone know what specific brands they alone importer

The brands are Scheinder Weisse,Rekeroderlig Cider,Sas Pils,Watou Wit.Hommiler, Duvel in Cork.

They also has the distribution rights for Staropramen and Hoggarden South of the Dublin- Galway line from interbrew.

Norhteast beer range has increased dramatically in recent times.
