whats the worst "real beer" you have ever had iyho? 15 years 2 months ago #61

I would be hesitant to call any beer "bad". I generally find even if I don't like something, someone else will... as indeed is the case here. I would class beers in one of three categories.

Beer I like.
Beer I don't like.
Beer thats borderline.

If the beer is prepared in the most traditional and crafty ways and comes out with a perfect OG, FG, color, flavor, and consistency every time, and I still don't like it... too bad.

Glad that works for you, but there's a distinction between preference and quality.
I think that's what this thread was (once) about: ill-conceived or poorly executed craft beers, rather than just "I like this but not that."

I do not see the differance in the points being made here,"worst" or "dislike" can mena the same thing to differant people.I could describe a beer as the worst beer I ever had and someone else might attest to a fact that it was produced my a world renowned brewer. Both views are true.

sorry guys i just started this thread as a light hearted disussion over what beers you have tried but not liked either because it was badly made or just not to your taste. personal taste is just that personal.
no need to argue just a bit of a laugh

I was tempted to say Coors Lite, but the output of Storm Brewing[/url:2772mhvq] in Newfoundland is, sad to say, truly dreadful, and not just in a "don't like" way, which is a pity because I love Newfoudland and apart from them there's not a lot else in the way of beer in Newfoundland apart from Labatt's Ice and the aforementioned Coors Lite.
