Does Deuchers ore green king count as a 'real beers'? They were pretty poor... way worse than the Badger offerings imho. I'd also have to put Brewdog Punk into that category - unpleasantly hoppy!

Im certainly not one of them, there is a pile of nonsense talked about czech lagers, they all right but then again so is sam adams and the like, and if you buy me a heineken i'll drink it, in fact i'll drink it all night if your paying <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
People on here talking about not washing there feet in badger beers etc, i really most come along to one of the homebrew beer tasting sessions some times, the beer most be truly sublime when people can dismiss commercial beers so perfunctly.
Without a shadow of a doubt some of the worst beer i've ever drank has been microbrewed and local but that of course would go down like a lead ballon on here seeing as it flies in the face of the raison d'etre of this site.

Can we agree that generalisations aren't helpful here?

The site is awash with generalisations, microbrewed/local/esoteric [b:2tdzrhu0]good[/b:2tdzrhu0] anything mass produced/familar [b:2tdzrhu0]pants[/b:2tdzrhu0].
