Had a chilli beer once that i had to pour down the sink I think its the first time i've poured commercial beer down the sink, usually no matter who rubbish it is i'll drink it because i've dropped coin on it, but this was truly undrinkable.

I actually think badger beers are fine, i can't see how you can knock a beer like blandford fly (which states that it has ginger) for having a ginger taste, that would be like slagging of a Kriek becuause you don't like cherry
Fursty ferret, and champion are fine for an occasional sup.

Just like Floris Kriek has a specific, madly backsweetened, cherry taste.

I picked up a lambic in a French supermarket last year. It's the first and last lambic I've had. Are they meant to taste like vomit ?

They vary. Only the really good ones taste like vomit

Before my palate had developed I would have said Orval was about the worst I'd had. My first bottle tasted like something a horse had passed. The second wasn't much better and by the third (over the course of a year or so) I had about given up. On a trip to Belgium I decided I had to be missing something so I tried it for a fourth time and I finally got it. It's definitely an acquired taste, but I'm glad I stuck with it.
Right now tied for the worst are Legacy Midnight Wit and Left Hand Juju Ginger.
