as the title suggestes not millheinobudcarl and not a batch of homebrew that went wrong. im talking about store brought beer, in date, that money was charged for.

mine was a beer by a crowd called badger brewery. it was brought as part of a multi sample pack of 6 diffrent beers none of whitch i was impressed with to be honest.

but others may have been judged harshley after the first bottle called "poachers choice" the flavour that hit you square in the cheek was liquorice <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt="" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->
also there was "bradford fly" from the same pack that had a ginger flavour that i didnt like.

i see from there website that they do a large slection of ales so maby i just got some sort of slection of there most unusuall brews but there it is none the less.

Im not that long converted to "real beer" but I think a couple of people will agree with me on this one - the worst real beer i tasted was that shepards neame stuff in LIDL - admirals reserve (Edit: Tapping the admiral as TBN points out) i think it was called.

Badger and Shepherd Neame are fish in barrels <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> In fact, most the the large UK regionals' attempts at specialty beers are awful.

Tapping the Admiral was definitely a bit special, though.

Coopers Original Pale Ale (Coopers Brewery),
Blanche du Brasseur (Brasserie De Saint Omer),
Okto (Widmer Brothers),
Pigswill (Stonehenge Ales).
