a snip at $26k (plus import duties!)[/quote:7s2xxjz1]Plus the transformer to convert the voltage. Dave Porter's 10 hl stainless system is €20,600[/url:7s2xxjz1].

It's not described in possible annual output terms tho?

It's more usually described in BBLs (barrels), with UK and US BBLs being slightly different.

Some breweries are quite basic (e.g. Dave Porters), some are quite automated, so size isn't everything

You should watch more Pat Kenny! Ming Flanagan told us on The Frontline that they did 1600 HL last year.

(There are easier, more pleasant ways of finding out than having to watch Pat Kenny )

[quote:21bkbuv2]Also this bond question is never actually really answered - I know WHAT it is - cant see a number ever written down, but I heard 150k mentioned in the pub one evening - is that a rough estimate (without giving trade secrets away!) but I appreciate it depends on the first question.[/quote:21bkbuv2]

I was in touch with revenue recently about cider, seems the standard bond is in the region of €100k but that for micro set ups it COULD be substantially smaller but said he could not discuss this further until I was in formal negotiations with them.

I was in the Oslo last week and got a tour, they brew 1000 ltr a week.
