I am guessing thre brewer , publican & customer ? <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->[/quote:107o4chn]

Does anyone know any suppliers of brewery equipment/technology either in Ireland or abroad? I don't live in Ireland and there isn't quite same stranglehold and barriers to entry from the Italian authorities. I am proposing to produce on a small scale in a pub-type premises, and flogging it on-site. I'd like to investigate the costs of setting something like this up. People don't tend to session drink over here so I would really only need equipment from the smaller end of the scale.

Another query, just how small a premises could one get away with? Not quite going away the world's smallest brewery, but just curious if people have any examples of tiny little pubs that produce their own beer.

Beoir Chorca Dhuibhne/Tig Bhric is an extremely small operation. Some of the guys here have actually visited- maybe they'll share experiences...

I was there but did not have time for a tour in the end.

I've never been, but mario you should probably be directing your questions to someone who knows the Italian market. I understand there's a bit of a beer renaissance going on over there at the moment anyway.
