While it's nice to be able to get these beers at the current tesco prices, it will not last and I for one will not be too sorry to see it go.

I was in drinkstore yesterday stocking up and helping my not so local offy out. It seems that Sierra Nevada are not too happy about it because they are selling way below cost and they don't even do that in the UK it seems.

Actually maybe drinkstore and the like should stock up at tesco and when the prices go back to normal they win. Probably not that simple..... <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Personally I don't think below cost selling of any product should be allowed as only mega retailers can affo

I spoke too soon! Into tesco ballybrack today on the way home from work for a packet of nappies, quick look in the beer aisle and bingo! Ph, belfast, GI etc etc etc
Only had the price of the nappies so spent it on beer!

I agree completely. While supping hophead & entirely grateful to get my hands on it in Cavan, I can't help feeling that at 1.50 a bottle, I'm somehow ripping the PH off. I hope that the exposure they, 8 degrees, whitewater & O Hara's works & doesn't cost them in the long run
