Was in Tesco Maynooth about an hour ago and the SN and GI were totally restocked.

Just reading this section and reminded me to check my local Tesco. SO straight out the door and down to Tesco as the wife needed to go <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

Not a huge selection compared to some of ye and just one 4ft drop which is actually not bad. Pretty much ignored the English ales as I've tried most of them before so was hoping that Whitewater was available as I've not tried much of their stuff. Luckily they were ...

And 2 O'Hara's Irish stout at regular price.

Thanks for the reminder as since Harvest closed in Galway we have very little selection even though there is an O'Briens but that is a bit of a tip for me.

Just got back from tesco in omni.
SNPA and Goose Island IPA - 1.50e a bottle ...

Sharing the antipathy/pathological hatred for a certain retail outlet of some other posters, I can now confirm from a scouting trip that Tesco in Cavan has a full range of O Haras, 8 Degrees, Whitewater & Porterhouse beers in their 5 for 10 range. Extensive range of English Ales & some US ales (SNPA, Goose Island, Shipyard).

Previously your only chance of Irish Craft Ale in Cavan was the O'Sheas beer in Aldi (unless you had brewed your own!)

Still nothing in my tesco - never any staff around to man the tills, never mind to find someone to give out to about it.
There's hobgoblin, osh, oharas, blacksheep, and a couple of sheapards neame beers, still no porterhouse, 8 degrees, whitewater, GI!!!
