i always felt palmerstown would be a good spot for a homebrew store....its just off the M50 at probably the mid point of the motorway, very close to city centre, and is easy to get to if your coming from the midlands.

There's a brand new empty retail unit across the road from me. Parking for 200 cars outside the door. 1 min walk from the commuter train station, also a regular Dublin bus service, and 2 mins drive from the M4/N4. Located in Leixlip.

Sandyford would be good being that the luas goes to it and it is beside the m50. It takes very little time to get anywhere on the motorway once it aint rush hour.

I'm not so sure Sandyford is the shopping location that Blanchardstown would be. Personally, I'd go with Blanch, I am biased living near it, but it's a lot more likely to get passing trade than Sandyford where people would be travel for the speciality nature of the shop, but passers-by would be a big part of the trade and blanch would win on that front.

Although the rents in the city centre a lot higher, this is for a reason, the potential of footfall customers in the city centre is far higher than anywhere else in Dublin, all rail and bus links travel to the city centre, if you got somewhere like the lads were saying, in smithfield you would have potential for on street parking also,

I would stay clear of Blanch and Sandyford as these are the extremes of west and south dublin and you dont want to loose or alienate customers due to people from the northside etc who wont be able to reach your store without a car.
