Hi John, I tried with some but they said there was no market for different beers. I will persist!

No market? More like the publican has no balls methinks.

Its a very common problem outside the cities and sometimes inside them.
Its a self-fulfiling prophecy. The customers don't know that there is more choice and the publican doesn't feel a need to educate them because they will buy what he does offer anyway with no real effort on his part. So the customers never really find out that there is more choice out there.
I avoid my usually almost empty local now because if I heard one more time that the rural pubs have been destroyed by the smoking ban and drink driving laws, I would have to slap the owner and bring him to the full pub just 3 miles away that is making just a small effort but it is noticed and appreciated

Hello lads,
Chris from west limerick, having been brewing for about 8 months. I love it am only on kits and turbo cider at the moment but already have a few batches under my belt. Have been posting on the communities for the past while and find the help and support invaluable. So I have taken the plunge and have become a full beoir member.
