Just found this site a few days ago and have been browsing the very informative articles ever since. I'm currently loving hoppy pale ales, and am well impressed with how the current batch of Irish craft breweries are holding their own with those of the rest of the world. Sadly I've recently moved away from a great local offy (Drink Store) and now have to go a bit further to get my fix. I've been thinking of trying to buy in bulk direct from the breweries or distributors.. does anyone have any experience with this?

Very interested to try and brew my own, and will definitely be giving it a go once I find a bit of respite from my current "hobby" - renovating and re-decorating my new house.

Hey Guys,

Only really getting active on the site now having been lurking in the shadows for quite a few months now. A 2 year jaunt around the world has left me with amongst other things, a huge appetite for beer, more and more kinds of beer. The first beer that truely blew my mind was a James Squire Amber ale, I was really envious of the craft beer culture that exists in places like australia, brazil and Quebec. I don't think I am alone either, I think things are moving in the right direction and the community does seem to be growing.

Right now I am extract brewing while employing partial mashing techniques. I like my beers dark and hoppy as hell

Hi Kevin,

I'd be starting with the Schneider Weisse range and working from there.

Welcome aboard!

Hello All

Just to let you know, we now stock a range of Irish craft brews as well as an extensive selection of international beers. So if you're in the area...

It's only early days and the plan is to eventually sell ALL Irish bottled beers while picking the best from the rest of the world. We have historically only sold wine so it will take a little while to get all our ducks in a row, but we're well up for the task.

As we're only finding our feet, please don't be dissappointed if we haven't got all the standards in there as yet, I promisem they ARE on the way.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that we are up to.

(Please... I don't want to upset anyone by posting in the wrong thread so feel free to move or delete(!) if I'm in the wrong place).

Thanks - great site.
