My first all grain brew was a summer ale (R. Mosher receipt) and unfortunately nearly gone.

Welcome to the forum Thomas, I've brewed the same beer in April, but mine didn't turn out to great, but I must re-taste and see if it's aged better than last time I tried it!

I guess I should introduce myself. Been into beer for quite a while and only recently decided to go home brew, directly to all grain. First batch is being conditioned, second one fermenting… I'll see how it turns hopefully soon. And I blame the Lee Homebrew Club for one new addiction, as if I had enough time for all of them already

I think I've done this before, but perhaps not (before the change to Beoir).

My name is Gavin, I'm from Donegal (Letterkenny). I've been living in Washington DC for the past 11 years, which is where my love of both Craft beer and homebrewing took off.

Luckily, the place I play ice hockey every Friday night is the top floor of a building that has a brewpub on the ground level (Rock Bottom Brewery). So that's my local. There are about 5 brewpubs within 20 minutes of me (including a Dogfish Head Alehouse, which is great) and a couple of breweries (good for tours/sampling etc)

I've been brewing for about 5 years, currently do about 90% all grain brewing and 10% mini-mash/extract when the supplies are running low.

Great craft beer scene here, DC has it's beer week upcoming now from August 14-21, which will have beer dinners, tap takeovers (where a brewery will take over a pub and put their entire range of beers on tap, including some rarer beers). This area also has a couple of great craft beer festivals (one in May, one in July and one in October)

Anyway, that's about it. This is a great spot, glad to see the craft beer market taking off at home. Hopefully I will get a chance to try some stuff that wasn't available before moving here.

Same than the one in Minneapolis airport (same name at least) ? I got stuck there for a few hours twice and had ample time to try quite a few of their brews

Rock Bottom have a brewpub in a lot of cities. They recently merged with Gordon Biersch (another brewpub chain)

Rock Bottom is all ale, Gordon Biersch is all lager. I can't wait until the merger is fully finalized and I can get the Gordon Biersch Schwartzbier on tap after hockey. That's refreshing
