Not to mention that other dopey shite, Joe Costello, who stood in front of a head shop that had been firebombed with staff in it, while explaining that he understood the frustrations of the public...what planet is he on in which he comes out in support of firebombers?

First time I heard the term "Head Shop" was in the early 80s when I used to read the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. And even then there was a head shop on Dame Street (The Alchemists Head if I remember correctly).

This is something I've believed for some time. However, being a lazy sod, I didn't bother with the whole proving my hypothesis with a good old double blind switcheroo. Im glad we're not all as lazy as me.

An excellent article. I'm sure many of us have observed that in Germany (for example) local people can and do drink as much as "we" do but don't seem to feel the need for violence!

I can't see our Drinkaware/Meas people buying into this. Much better to hang on to traditionally held views than consult any relevent research....
