Ah youtube where would we get videos[/url:2nqqdooz] of beer keg rockets without you?

What happens when no one works in a job making stuff anymore? A bit heavy I know but if all the beer in the country can be made by three guys in a control room does everyone just end up answering phones for a living?

It's a pity really. There will be very few big breweries in Ireland after this. I found it odd that on the radio they were on about Ireland's great brewing tradition. Over the past few years this wouldn't seem to be the case. Beamish closing, Breweries in Kilkenny and Dundalk soon to close. Very few microbreweries.

It's sad to see Beamish go.

I could be wrong, but I was up there a few months ago and they had a stack of kegs - my understanding was that they were pre-printed empty ones. Obviously the manufacturer prints them, hence the limited range (red basically).

Fair enough, so. It was just a guess, based on the old Kinsale minikegs that used to be around. Never mind.

To be fair, I'm doing a bit of guessing/speculating myself. It's what keeps this site going!
