Or maybe you'd like to open a shop of some kind, how much is the set-up and stock going to cost you, do you think? Restaurant? Pub? It costs money to set up a business.[/quote:3tb4ff7e]

Do you know how many bottles they are selling? Is it enough to be able to support the type of capital outlay that I've mentioned? Because that's the kind of money that'd be needed.

Personally, I doubt that at this stage (circa 1 year) they selling nearly enough beer to be able to cover the cost of the finance of a brewery.

Well that certainly has the potential to get our questions answered.

Much of the information we do have comes from Iorwerth's recent book on brewing in Ireland. We already knew about the Belgian connection, but this book confirmed it and also laid out the business plan regarding the visitors centre coming first. Their website[/url:29i8en9m] does say thay they are in startup mode, but there is also alot of magical mystical Ireland stuff, which is fine for marketting I guess.

Anyone got the book handy to transcribe what facts are now in the public domain?

From memory: visitor centre in 2008, followed by brewery. I'll be home in twenty minutes, and will see if there's any other tit-bits in the book.
