[quote:2to42d3r]But the only difference between my scenario and the way Árainn Mhór are doing things, is that they have made vague mentions of starting a brewery, at some unspecified future date.[/quote:2to42d3r]Pretty much, but for the time being we're choosing to give them the benefit of the doubt on the, perhaps mistaken, assumption that it's their intention to follow through.

So if I added similarly vague assurances, the above stout would magically transform into an Irish Craft Beer?[/quote:1vx0id9y]

We're getting our lines crossed because I don't think Aran Mhor is Irish craft beer at all. I'm just forgiving of the tactics they have chosen to break into a difficult market.

There's that word 'vague' again. If they came out and told everyone straight, then it would clear the air.

Because they haven't, there's a lot of speculation going on: Do they have a brewer? did they formulate the recipes? will they open a brewery? when will it be opened?
Obviously they're not helping themselves by staying quiet, but then again, I haven't contacted them to try and get some answers.

That was my issue, why not be straight from the start, I think they would find people to be understanding with the difficulty in raising capital. It just appears a little fuzzy as to what their real intent is

It could be as simple as to establish brand and sell it on to an Irish company

Exactly. Throwing that in does change my perspective. My argument all along is that it is an Irish product, and hopefully we'll see a brewery on the island.

Here is an example of clear advertisement/labeling

It’s quite clear that this product is not produced in Ireland, or by an Irish company. You can clear see where it’s brewed and you check the site to see there is no ambiguity as to weather there is a brewery at that address or will be

all very clear so the consumer can make an informed choice
