[color=olive:hv5qei0r]That is one of the more obvious ones. Yet, Van Steenberge, Du Bocq, but even De Graal or Strubbe might spring to mind. Even BDS Affligem is a possibility. Oh, after all, there's some choice...[/color:hv5qei0r]

Oh right. I was shamelessly flaunting my one tiny bit of knowledge about Belgian beer.

I wonder is there any chance that Proef brewery may supply the Irish market with their other products <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

I haven't been on this in a while properly, just had a look at this thread, i have to say, i love this site, and it has been a massive help, massive massive help, but its so off putting to see so much negativity. opinions are fine, we all have them, and being constructive is fine too, but some of the comments are a little cheeky, theres no need for it. I know we are all adults, and a nice debate is great, but i think theres a bit too much of this going lately...

In response to Graemes heartfelt post, I'd like to apologise to anyone who I might have upset or annoyed by my comments or otherwise. Through the written word it is sometimes difficult to clearly express oneself, being Irish does not equate to having a silver tongue. I am no Saint and Scholar. And with the advent of being able to gauge tone and body language, on which we Irish rely so heavily, true meanings of words and opinions can be misconstrued. And I'm sure I'm as guilty as the next.

That said, we certainly don't want a type of situation where 'the nail that sticks out gets hammered down' either. Opinions are important. The tricky part is how far we take them. Are we merely restating our opinion or are we trying to convince the other of its righteousness.

Let us move on...until next time that is....!
