Quiet again...

Taking on board the comments above, and with a view to getting the whole thing finished, how about this:

1. Brewers submit prospective recipes to a deadline.
2. The candidate recipes are published on this forum simultaneously.
3. Contributors vote on their preferred recipe.
4. There's a final period of consultation on the chosen recipe (with additional minipolls if required).
5. The recipe is submitted to Sam for brewing.

Would that fly?

Sounds good but maybe also have a thread where non-brewers can submit recipe suggestions e.g. a non-brewer might not know much about recipe formulation but they can still say they really like the hops used in Beer X and Beer Y. A brewer could then use this info to help put a recipe together.

That's this one. Let's hear 'em.

I like Summit and Galaxy. I don't like heavy toffee in a pale ale.

I like Summit, Citra, Mosaic. Don't like heavy toffee either and would prefer something around the 8% mark.

Massive Nelson Sauvin fan.

I'm not a huge fan of Citra, but Summit, Galaxy, Simcoe, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin hit the spot.
