The reg I have is from mybeerandwine, and has a hex spout whereas the fire ext has a round spout. Therefore,it will not work.Has anybody else encountered this problem and if so could you help, cheers[/quote:jod24t3s]
They should fit. I have a fire extinguisher and have used the mybeerandwine reg a friend has and they fitted together....The hexagonal nut should only be hexagonal on the outside not the inside. Would you have a picture?

people did report a mis-match in the size on the mybeerandwine regs (I actually thought you were one of them rossa)
But they advice was bring the reg back and they will gladly swap it or give you an adaptor.
