Fire extinguisher have a tube going to the bottom of the tank. That's because u want to get snow from it when u turn it on.
Liquid co2 can damage your regulator.

Co2 under compression is in a liquid for but once it is released from the compressed environment it turns to gas. Thus the reg is fine ...on the other hand getting beer into the reg is bad news.

Sorry Tube I wasn't having a go at anyone. Not in my nature!
This gas thing has been bashed about for years on the forum and there is a fair bit of scare mongering at times. Apart from the risk of the cylinder blowing up...which is very small really considering they nearly all have a blow off valve, it's all chocolates....just keep them away from fire!

This is just based on observation... but when i let the fire extinguisher off into the air it does produce a visible mist, that could still be gas, i dont know??
I havent repeated this experiment with my regular beer cylinder, its all connected up and no leaks, dont want to disturb it.

I need a cylinder asap. Anyone picking up gas and and living in on the north side? Bad thing about being a butcher this time of year. No free time.
