I havent repeated this experiment with my regular beer cylinder, its all connected up and no leaks, dont want to disturb it.[/quote:9zngzptp]
Spoke with the man there and according to him there shouldn't be any problems with fire extinguishers. He also told me that that are suppling same cylinders to aquarists.
Well, today I'm going to test it ...

Got mine filled by D+D today.
These are very helpull people. The guy there opened up the bottle and we had a peep inside and it's beautifull and shiny new!
We debated taking out the tube and decided to leave it in. Seems you get better delivery of gas with the tube. Without it you get a frozen lump at the bottom which is probably not good.
Anyway I'm happy and confident.
By the way I still have a couple of spare bottles if anyone has anything interesting to swap.
Chris.

Any full Co2 bottles going?

I have a couple of mostly full.
I actually emptied one today to check the inside. It was perfect. They are all the same type, same age so you could say they all should be the same inside.
