Gauging interest for custom Brew in a bag bags. 15 years 5 months ago #37

OK, it took a while longer than expected due to this and that, but I now have bags ready to go.

I have three models which I will show tomorrow.

I have a relatively small hop bag that ties with a ribbon and has a pocket in the outside to weigh it down if dry hopping with it. These cost 5 euros each.

I have one which fits the standard Youngs fermenter which a few of you are using as boilers. These cost 8 euros each.

I have one which fits the large ten gallon fermenters from Hop and Grape which is what some of the rest of you are using. These cost 10 euros each.

I have made mashing bags and large hop bags exactly the same, so they are interchangeable, basically they have a small pocket on the outside of them that weights can go into for use as a hop bag, but it won't get in the way if they are used for mashing.

Anyone who's said they want some so far, let me know if you are still on for them.
I realise no formal arrangements were made thusfar and prices weren't finalised so no panic if you don't want what you informally ordered anymore,I'd obviously rather you do honour what's been discussed, but won't hold it against anyone who doesn't want to purchase them after all.

Anything will have a years guarantee on it once you pay postage for any repairs.

Hi Eoin,

I'm still on for one. I need it for a keggle, so whatever size you think fits best I'll take.

Cheers,

Peter

I have kegs here and have sized for that.

Obviously I forgot to mention postage as well, so I'll PM you with paypal details and 8 quid plus P&P.

PM me your address and as soon as paypal is in bag will be sent.

<edit> I just checked with the wife, paypal is taking almost a euro, so the paypal fee will also be added if you choose to go that way.

so it actually will raise P&P to about 3 euro total, assuming postage is 2.20, we just haven't weighed a package yet so don't know for sure.

If you want to do other than paypal just let me know.

Hi Eoin.

What size approx are the bags for the standard Youngs fermenter type of bolier? My bolier is homemade, so I think it is deeper than the youngs boiler, but will measure tonight to be sure. Also what size is the hop bag? Would it take all the hops for a standard brew? Apologies if these questions are already answered.

Cheers,
Billy.

Dimensions of all bags and some photos will be sorted shortly. The wife is at home now sorting it and it'll be posted once it's done.

I forgot to mention that there is a model which fits a keggle as well.

Hey Eoin,
Are you based around Tyrrelstown? I'll probably drop around for my bags if thats OK with you.

Cheers
