Gauging interest for custom Brew in a bag bags. 15 years 7 months ago #1

My wife is handy with the sewing machine and recently got an overlocking machine from her seamstress mother.
I've had her make me up a very decent bag for the BIAB, before she got the overlocker, but it's working fine.

I'm interested in checking if anyone here is wanting a bag made up to their spec for use either for BIAB or as a hop bag if you really wanted to use it like that.

One person on here is already going to get one to use as a hop bag in his keggle, my reckoning is that if you put it in the keggle draped over the edges like you would with BIAB that you won't have the problem of underutilisation of hops that comes from not allowing the lot to flow freely as you get with a normal hop bag.

They are a nice professional finish with a drawstring on them and I've used mine twice now for a full BIAB brew with no issues.

In any case reply here if you would be interested at all.

Not looking at a lot of money for these considering how long they last and how much Voile costs, between 5 and 10 euros depending on the size.

As said reply if you have any interest.

Interest noted.

Once I feel this is worth moving on, in the next week or two I will get dimensions of your setups off of you and talk details.
