Gauging interest for custom Brew in a bag bags. 15 years 5 months ago #49

Hi all,

I'm Eoin's wife, Mareth, the baglady I suppose <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> .

I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for all the interest, it's taken a while (sorry about that) but I'm ready to start posting out the bags.

I've read through the thread and through Eoin's PMs regarding this, and what I have so far is:

Dr Jacoby - 1 * keggle sized bag
ErcanJ - 2 * 10 gallon bin size
Good For What Ales You - 1 * keggle size and 2 * hop bags
JamesM 1 * keggle
Irish Party Ale - 2 * hop bags and 2 * 10 gallon bins
Jacob - 1 * keggle and 2 * hop bags

It's possible I've overlooked someone on the thread, so if there is anyone else that has a definite order that isn't on that list, if you could please PM me and I'll get the bags made up.

I'm just about to PM everyone on the list with payment, collection, delivery details etc.

For any future orders please either post on this thread or PM me directly.

Thanks again

Mareth

Anyone with an exposed element in their fermenter, please remember that the synthetic material will melt if it comes in contact with that element if it's on. The advice from the aussies is to use a cake rack or something that sits above your element and keeps the direct heat off the bag. They are made with indicators as to the depth of the bag in the bucket but this is no guarantee of the height being exactly right so please take precautions. The other point is that the bag should be raised out of the liquor to raise the temp for stepping, and when you drop it back in stir fast to equalise the temps. I don't use lifting or a rack myself and I have turned the element on while the bucket is full, but none the less you have been warned.

Any criticisms of design or problems would be preferred per PM first so we can work with you and address them and we will support/guarantee the bags for a year from the date of purchase, any repairs in that time will be done gratis as long as you cover postage or deliver to the house.

Enjoy gents.

I've no problem with that James, once Eddie is fine with that.

The amount to transfer without postage is €8.64 to cover paypal fees, thanks.
