Well, here's something interesting regarding the old Balrothery brewery, I got a hold of this via a TCD database, it's a classified from Hoey's Dublin Mercury (Dublin, Ireland), Thursday, December 27, 1770; Issue 653.

apparently he has as good a set of callomers (is that what it says??) as any (without exception) in the kingdom! what more do you need to know!

If you flick down there was a relative (as it would be 80 years later) with the same name who was a spirit merchant but best of all is the occupation of Miss Landy.
It certainly beats the s**t out of my job title.
