Knocked out just over 7 gallons of my recipe, 2 gallons is getting the lager treatment the other 5 is getting fermented with an ale yeast at 22C, looking forward to seeing the differences between them, despite all the extra work involved with the lager i reckon the ale will probably beat the pants off it.

I'm hoping to brew at the weekend. Not sure if that's cutting it fine for the lager yeast to do its job in time for the tasting but we'll see.

My plan is for this weekend too, but being an ale it should be enough time.

Not going to brew this until it gets a bit colder, I don't have any temp control and don't want mine to stick out due to high fermentation temps. But just to get it straight, we are aiming for a similar enough brew to the coopers kit? So O.G. 1.045 - 1.050 and bitterness between 22 and 25 IBU?

Yep, that's it.

Incidentally, delboy: Irish Party Ale's offer of overnight accommodation is entirely transferable to Beer Nut Towers if you want to deliver your lager in person and try the others.
