I realise that The Homebrew Company are the best stockists of homebrew equipment, as well as being members here, but at the end of the day they are a commercial business, so I think a degree if independence is required here.
At a minimum I think all Irish homebrew stockists should have their contacts listed on some literature.

Also, I know we don't want this to turn into a trade show, with a stall from every supplier, but should other suppliers be invited to attend too, if only to meet and greet, and pass out a few flyers/business cards?

I should be able to make it. I can provide some beer and a car from Dublin. I haven't got any cornies, but I could bring bottles or maybe a barrel, but the barrel won't travel very well. I'll confirm as soon as I can.

I think it would be a good thing to have a nice beer from bottles as well as cornies. Otherwise people might get the notion that decent homebrew is only possible with a complicated and expensive home dispense system.

Anyone bringing a stout, btw?
I'm bringing a pseudo-lager and maybe a weiss, Ale Man is bringing ale, but I think it would be nice to have some black stuff too.

In the interests of fairness and, as you say, independence, I agree. It can be up to the businesses how they present themselves, if at all, but it should be an equal opportunity, and anything that promotes home brewing can only be good.

One ICB member who happens to sell homebrew gear is interested in attending. If any other members of ICB who sell homebrewing supplies would like to come along and sell stuff, I'm sure we can come to an arrangement. Certainly, I don't think there's any problem in having a full list of suppliers -- Irish and foreign -- available as a handout.

That's also true. The simpler this is kept the better (probably) <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
