Right, gotcha. Though hopefully people* will be able to wander through and grab a pint from the bar when they want.

That seems like a decent amount of space. Is there parking nearby?

Ok.
i'll prob bring
1 or 2 electrim boilers,
some hops,
bottling brush,
the plastic keg i use for bottling and other bottling paraphenalia
such as a two hand capper,
caps,
bottling wand,etc.
will try and bring starsan,
hopefully some malt extract,
maybe a small bag of grain,
1 fermentor c/w airlock and immersion heater, whatever yeast packs i have knocking around,
my electric drill to demonstrate the easy way to clean your bottles,
some beer,
the immersion chiller,
an auto syphon,

can't think of anything else at the mo but i'm sure whatever i forgot someone else will post.

So what you're saying is we need cornies cornies cornies! A benchcapper would be good.

I like the sound of the electric drill bottle-cleaner. Have you a pair of goggles for everyone?

Will Do

As for the rest of the format, I think it's worth just having people (us), literature, equipment and free beer on hand to talk anyone who wanders up into making their own beer. The icing on the cake would be if we could have goods for sale from The Homebrew Company -- and if we can, that should definitely go in the promotional material: we'd like people to know they can come along and go home with everything they need to start making their own beer the following day.[/quote:22l6mqct]

Sounds good

cornies YUP, and a bench caper would be excellent the two handed capper may be off putting to anyone who is actually interested but also a little bit lazy (like me, gotta admit i hate that thing with a passion <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt=":x" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x --> )
