Speaking of which, how's your new brew room shaping up? <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Very nice, thank you, Mr Pointed Remark. I'm in junk clearing mode, ahead of the acquisition of a supply of new, shiny, beer-making junk.

Edit: also, I found my apron[/url:1gbgqkz6] yesterday. I mean, that's me half done right there.

I can't make a firm commitment on this yet as every time I think I'll make an event something gets in the way. However I will be glad to help out if at all possible.

Yup, all you need to bring is a ball lock cornie and you can dispense through it, I will bring regulator and gas aswell (100% CO2), there are flow regulators in each line to componsate for different levels of carbonation, It got a serious testing over crimbo and works a treat, I only used the cheap dalex taps as I don't have to worry too much about it, the good taps are on the small fridge at home.

So the mobile bar, is very portable, sit on a table or bench and is cheap to make.

Home beer fridge, not so portable, great for conditioning and has nice taps

Ale Man

That is a serious set-up Ale Man. Nice job.

You really are going the extra mile brining that portable dispense system. It will make all the difference to the demonstration.

I'll set the cornie of Seisiún aside for this demo. It's just pale malt and a bit of sugar, German hops and Danstar Nottingham kept to 14C-15C in my thermostatically controlled fridge. Came out at 4.7% and is clear as a bell already. Will be nicely matured by the time this event rolls around, so it should make for a good demonstration of quality homebrew.

Bog_Myrtle, could I persuade you to transport my beer for me? I have no car, so if I have to transport my own beer it would mean lugging it on the train. If you are willing to play Drayman, then I could probably brew up a batch of Weiss for the event too.

One last issue. Serving temperature. Will we be OK with the ambient temperature in the beer garden?
