As for the rest of the format, I think it's worth just having people (us), literature, equipment and free beer on hand to talk anyone who wanders up into making their own beer. The icing on the cake would be if we could have goods for sale from The Homebrew Company -- and if we can, that should definitely go in the promotional material: we'd like people to know they can come along and go home with everything they need to start making their own beer the following day.
