I had the very same experience in the B&C with a Bishops Finger fresh from the box. It was a revelation. A proper strong ale with wonderful English hops. I did this as a challenge in the B&C when I was generally moaning about skunking, and Declan said he had some in a case. I reckon it should all be kept in cardboard until the customer wants it. I just don't buy any Sheapherd's Neame beer or any beer in glass bottles for that matter. It's a pain, but the skunking is just too much for me to ignore.
