ahem, how forgiving are the t-shirts for those of the bigger-boned variety of beer drinker?

Most of the Ts on their site[/url:lil9hp1v] appear to be XL (I'm an M believe it or not ), and I don't think they ship to Ireland

They are XL, and very wide I must say, I have a bit of a belly and it may be too wide for me (I have not tried it on yet)

Cool design though!

After reading the original post I headed over to The Drink Store and picked up two of the Flying Dog brews, Old Scratch Amber Ale and Snake Dog IPA along with the Hercules DIPA.

The Old Scratch is listed as an Amber Ale but it's also a steam beer, the only I've tasted other than Anchor. It's nice and malty with a lovely mouthfeel and moderate bitterness and long lasting flavour.

The Snake Dog is beautiful. I instantly thought of a cross between American and English IPA, or more specifically Goose Island IPA and Sierra Nevada IPA. It's got the citrus aroma but the Goldings flavour is also there and it's a great combination. It also has enough Crystal malt to balance the hops. Very very nice. I haven't tried the Hercules yet but I'm looking forward to having it this evening.

While I was picking the bottles up I spoke to Mr. Drink Store and he told me that Wally (ex Eurobeers) is bringing these in. Apparently he has a line on some other interesting brews, including some of the better US micros, so that's some good news.

Mr Drinkstore told me the same thing, and also mentioned that the Porterhouse were getting in on the act. He said that he might be organising some beer tastings with Wally of Eurobeers which should be a real eye opener in terms of beer appreciation.

This all sounds very promising. More of this sort of thing!
