I couldnt believe when he told me he got these!!! I must say it is expensive...but to have the choice two great beers is fantastic, and I would have no bones about buying these now and again. The double IPA was a hop monster, quite drinkable for such a high alc content...Things are looking good lads

First was Snake Dog IPA (6.4%) from the Flying Dog Brewery in Denver and the other Hercules Double IPA (9.1%) from Great Divide Brewing. also of Denver. Not cheap at €3.25 for the Snake Dog and a whopping €5.75 for the DIPA! However, having splashed out on a couple of bottles of each, and downed with Graeme while bottling his Christmas Porter, was definitely money well spent. Not too sure of the stockholding in the shop, but if you like this sort of stuff get youreslves over to Stoneybatter. Now! [/quote:2mszlbb9]

Sounds brilliant! I will pop over there and get me some of those

I popped into McHughes this afternoon and picked up the following

Shepherd Neame - Christmas Ale 07
Schneider Aventinus
Wychwood Bah Humbug
Wychwood Goliath
St Peters Old style porter
St Peters Cream Stout
Wychwood Hobgoblin (actually my Mother bought this for me today in a presentation tin and comes with a t-shirt)

Good to know it has born fruit. Thanks for the heads-up, BeerMad.
