I like Youngs Choc Stout, but I would not drink it all night <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

I was looking for a few recomendations ..dark, warming, tasty....in no particular order....or general beauties...I like a nice strong beer as a wind down while the missus has wine....I drink my beer out of a big red wine glass....[/quote]

Try Rochefort 8. It ticks all those boxes perfectly.

Or for something a bit brighter and sharper but still full bodied, try Orval.

That's a good night in: Glass of wine, coffee with rum or brandy, bit of dark chocolate, a cool Orval, a coolish Rochefort 8. Yummm. And then.....?
