I've seen Diageo do it with Smithwicks, true, but I didn't see Heineken doing it there.

Besides, I think you can't deny the craft in macrobeer. Their quality control is amazing. And there IS a time and a place for a glass of Heineken.

I think it's worthwhile supporting small local brewers because they are small and local but 'craft' doesn't mean small and local.

This is to replace "craft". You wouldn't use bneer for anything nevermind to sub for craft.

It's only a general idea.

I have always maintained some Irish organisation should do an accredition system like Cask Marque, LocAle, and so on.

I do like LocAle. It's clever.

LocAle is indeed a great idea, though it doesn't have a defined meaning:
