As some of you might be aware, myself, Poc and our good non-ICB registered friend Stephen are in the process of opening Ireland's newest brewery. So we thought that now was the time to share our intention to all of the ICB.

There's been some tension in the creative process as regards settling on a name for our fledgling enterprise. We finally decided the best solution would be to open the question up to some people who have no shortage of opinions when it comes to their favourite tipple. Which is why I'm putting up this poll. We've whittled the list down to the six on the short-list above, and we'd like you to vote on your favourite and tell us why you like it. Or if you like none of them, feel free to suggest an even better alternative...

There's still some hard work to be done, so it'll be a little while yet before the beer is in your favourite pub, so keep an eye out here and you'll be the first to know if there's any further news.

Bear in mind, anyone who doesn't vote is a Coors Light drinker.

Have you thought about using google adwords? Its a cheap way to test names. Put up two names and see which one gets more clicks. Not sure you are allowed to put up breweries.

you could also have each one matched to a dice number. Role the dice and while it rolls you'll decide which way you want it to land.
